Starting from Monday, November 27, resident and non-resident natural persons over the age of 18 can subscribe to FIDELIS state securities denominated in lei and euros, through partner banks, securities that are listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the Ministry of Finance announces

The period of this edition is November 27 – December 15.
It is the fourth edition of the campaign “Romania has the blood of a rocker, now also of an investor” carried out together with Morning Glory, Rock FM, where blood donors receive the best interest.
“Government bonds have always been attractive to both novice and experienced investors, depending on their strategy and risk appetite. The security of the invested capital, the fact that the state securities are fully guaranteed by the state both in terms of the capital and the related interest, made Romanians invest over 22 billion lei from 2020 until now. We are coming with a new edition that offers advantageous conditions, both for titles in lei and for those in euros. In addition, the fact that blood donors, our unseen heroes, will benefit from special conditions has already become a tradition. Thus, every drop of blood becomes a currency of solidarity, and state titles become symbols of collective generosity”, Minister Marcel Boloș said.
Donations can be made to the ministry on November 29 and December 4
With the support of the Bucharest Blood Transfusion Center, a new mobile blood collection will be organized at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, on November 29 and December 4. Those interested are expected at the institution’s headquarters in Bulevardul Libertății no. 16, to save up to three lives.
The tranche dedicated to blood donors will apply to government securities issued in lei, with a maturity of one year, with an interest rate of 7.10%, 1% higher than the usual 1-year tranche. Also, another benefit offered to donors is the 10-fold reduction of the minimum subscription threshold from 5,000 lei to 500 lei. People who provide proof of blood donation from January 1, 2023 can benefit from the advantageous conditions of the new issue.
We want this edition, through the tranche dedicated to donors, to contribute concretely to the stimulation of blood donation by individuals, joining the efforts with this theme carried out at the national, local, but also in the private environment.
In addition to the special tranche, the FIDELIS edition that debuts on November 27 will also contain the usual issues, respectively: government securities in lei, with maturities of 1 year and 3 years and annual interest rates of 6.10% and 7.25% respectively, and government securities in euro, with maturities of 1 year and 5 years and annual interest of 4.00% and 5.50%, respectively.
The nominal value of a FIDELIS government bond is 100 lei for the issue in lei and 100 euros for the issue in euros, and the minimum subscription threshold is 5,000 lei and 1,000 euros, respectively.
You can withdraw the money at any time and the winnings are tax-free.
In the process of subscribing FIDELIS government securities, no commissions are charged by intermediary banks, and the income obtained, both from interest and from capital gains, is non-taxable.
Holders of FIDELIS government securities launched in the framework of previous issues that have reached maturity can reinvest the availabilities not withdrawn at maturity, by subscribing to this new issue.
