After circulating information regarding the singer Angham undergoing urgent surgery to remove the uterus due to the presence of tumors, Dr. Akram Al-Adawy, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Kasr Al-Aini Faculty of Medicine, revealed the nature of these tumors, stressing that they were analyzed and found to be fibrous and not cancerous, as some have promoted.
Al-Adawi indicated, during an intervention on the “Last Word” program presented by the media, Mays Al-Hadidi, on the ON screen, that the tissue analyzes following the surgery proved that she was suffering from fibrous tumors, and that she was free of any malignant cancerous tumors, and therefore there is no future risk.
Al-Adawi revealed the reason why Angham underwent surgery urgently, indicating that there was excessive activity and mutations in the uterus, but they were dealt with early, before they developed, and had no future developments.
He continued, “There are no cancerous tumors, as has been reported recently, and from a medical point of view, according to gynecological standards, we consider what I have reached now as a complete recovery.”
Al-Adawi stressed that the coming days will witness the continuation of receiving conservative treatment, conducting x-rays and the necessary analyzes to measure the percentage of minerals, and monitor bowel movement, and with time there will be a breakthrough in adhesions and the issue needs patience, “expecting that at a rate of 90% – according to this track – Angham will not need surgical intervention.” once once more.

He added that his mother still does not eat food and relies on feeding through solutions, and within hours the case will be evaluated. He said, “If the condition is good, you will start taking doses of food and water starting from Sunday.”
Omar referred to the developments in his mother’s psychological state, saying: “Surely she is upset because her concerts and filming are disrupted, but her health is more important.” He continued: “Anyone who wants to check on my mother is through the treating doctors or through me, and this is her request today.”
