The car Fiat Topolino makes its return to the European market, despite not being exactly a new model. In fact, it is an adaptation of the Citroën Amiwhich is a small car, but in this case it arrives with several visual changes, such as the absence of doors.
In general, this vehicle can be considered the father of Fiat 500 classic, which was produced in Italy between the years 1936 and 1955. Later, it ended up being replaced and from there, hatch versions began to be launched. Now, in comparison with the Citroën Ami, there are some important differences.
The main one is in the design, which instead of adopting a more futuristic look, the Topolino follows a more retro line, with round headlights, less demarcated bodywork and smaller wheels that allude to the hubcaps implemented in the cars that were seen in the years 1950.
An interesting fact regarding this model is that it was approved in the European market as a quadricycle, which eliminates the need for doors and even a driving license. In this way, people with at least 14 years of age can already drive this vehicle without problems.
Although speculations have not been revealed, it is possible that the Topolino has the same technical sheet as the Citroën Ami. That is, an engine with 8 hp of power and a 5.5 kWh battery, capable of providing a range of 70 km. The maximum speed, finally, is 45 km / h.
