Today, to acquire a new vehicle, there are many options: purchase (often on credit), LOA, LLD… These possibilities ultimately remain restrictive for people whose situation is changing rapidly, because they commit you over several years.
This situation is regarding to change with Fiat launching a non-binding subscription for its Fiat 500 electric (which represents 70% of Fiat 500 orders). The principle is simple, from a dedicated site, the customer orders his car, chooses the place of delivery and pays with his credit card.
Thus, following a security deposit of 1000 euros, the customer will pay a package of 299 euros per month, without commitmentwhich includes :
- an electric Fiat 500
- a package of 1500 kilometers per month
- the interview
- insurance
The basic vehicle offers a range of 190 kilometers, knowing that other offers (more expensive) will be available for a vehicle offering 320 kilometers of autonomy. A modern offer that might appeal to the youngest, especially given the few supporting documents requested.
It might also be suitable for people with a one-time need for a vehicle such as seasonal workers or people who may have long professional missions abroad.
Fiat is the first manufacturer to offer this kind of offer in France, while Hyundai started in 2021 in Spain. To see if other manufacturers follow suit.
