FGJCDMX investigates fire registered in Cuauhtémoc

After the fire registered this Tuesday followingnoon in the Buenavista neighborhood, Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, which left two fatalities, the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJCDMX) reported that the corresponding investigations are already underway.

In response to the incident in a property located on Carlos J. Meneses street, elements of the Heroic Fire Department of Mexico City arrived at the site, as well as uniforms of the Preventive Police, who were alerted to the fire via radio; Meanwhile, the Secretary for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection reported through its official social networks that there was confirmation of the death of two people who were inside the property.

Ministerial personnel from the Territorial Investigation Prosecutor’s Office in Cuauhtémoc, as well as the Investigation Police and experts in criminalistics, photography and chemistry appeared at the scene to carry out the first steps and gather evidence for the integration of the corresponding investigation folder. In the same way, a multidisciplinary cell of the General Directorate of Attention to Victims was presented, reported the FGJCDMX.
