Fewer Air France and Air Senegal flights between Africa and Europe

End of August, Air France unveiled its flight schedule to the African continent. A program that includes several downward frequency adjustments during the month of November. This reduction in the number of flights particularly affects Abidjan, Douala, Lagos, Libreville, Luanda, Malabo and Pointe Noire.

The biggest reduction concerns the line Paris CDG-Abidjan whose number of weekly frequencies drops from 14 to 10 flights from October 30 to December 4.

follow the line CDG-Lagoswhose frequencies increase from 7 to 5 weekly flights from October 30 to November 30. CDG-Douala-Malabo is also experiencing a reduction of one flight per week, from 7 to 6 frequencies. This reduction will apply until December 5. Same frequency reduction on CDG-Librevillefrom 7 to 6 flights per week during the same period.

Finally the line Paris CDG-Pointe-Noire will now be operated with a stopover at Luanda and will see the total number of frequencies drop from 4 to 3 weekly flights.

On all flightsAir France quoted, the aircraft in service are Airbus A330-200 or Boeing 777-200ER or 300ER.

Adjustments also on Air Senegal

Furthermore, the company Air Senegal is also adjusting its schedules by partially reducing its frequencies in Africa and Europe.

Towards the European continent, the company is reducing its frequencies from 3 to 2 per week on Barcelona from September 22. On Dakar-Milan, the carrier is going from 4 to 3 flights/week from October 3. Finally, the fourth weekly flight in addition, planned on the Lyon-Marseille-Dakar axis is canceled.

On Africa, Air Senegal reduces its frequencies on Casablanca, Cotonou, Douala and Libreville. The company has also decided to postpone sine the the opening of the Dakar-Accra line.
