    Beijing – On Sunday, June 30, 2024, Chinese space company Tianbing Aerospace Technology (also called Space Pioneer) announced that its Tianlong-3 rocket was accidentally launched during a test. The unexpected launch caused the rocket to take off and crash into a nearby mountainside. European rocket to take off in July.

    Local authorities reported that the explosion caused a fire away from residential areas and that no one was injured. Before the test, officials had taken extensive safety measures in cooperation with the local government and evacuated residents.

    Tianbing is one of several Chinese private space companies that have gained prominence in recent years. In April 2023, the company launched another reusable rocket – the Tianlong-2 – which runs on coal-based kerosene.

    With nine engines, the Tianlong-3 is now being called a revolutionary rocket for China’s space industry.
