On Saturday, the second day of the No Logo BZH festival at Fort Saint-Père near Saint-Malo, the event was once again highlighted by major headliners, drawing a large audience to a packed venue under a bright sun.

Manu Sissoko and Vesko opened the concert series with world music, singing about their love for Mali.
New Caledonian Marcus Gad was welcomed by a Kanak flag waved by a spectator.
“Protect Your Story”
Clearly fond of visiting Brittany, he delivered a message inviting travel and reflection alongside his talented band, “Tribe.”
He encouraged the audience to join in the lyrics of his song Pouvoir, highlighting the similarities between Bretons and Kanaks: “Protect your power, preserve your knowledge, protect your history, save your memory.”

Pierpoljack, followed by Black Uhuru—a legendary Jamaican roots reggae band formed in the 1970s—then took to the stage, leading into the softer sounds of Patrice and the final concert of the Chinese Man tour with their electro hip-hop.
The audience was able to discover a musical genre that originated in Martinique and dance along with the essential Maureen, the ambassador of Shatta.

High Heat Expected
On Sunday, sunshine and warmth will continue, along with Burning Spear, who set the stage ablaze at No Logo BZH in 2022, making a return to Brittany.
A reggae singer and musician, a historical figure of the movement alongside Bob Marley and The Gladiators, he will again share his messages defending the black cause and honoring Marcus Garvey.
Skip Marley, the grandson of the legendary Bob, along with Yaniss Odua and Anthony B, will also grace the stage at Fort Saint-Père.

Retour sur le Festival No Logo BZH 2024 à Saint-Malo
Le samedi a marqué la seconde journée du festival No Logo BZH, un événement incontournable pour les amateurs de musique et de culture, qui s’est tenu au Fort Saint-Père, près de Saint-Malo. Cette édition 2024 a vu une affluence record sous un ciel parfaitement dégagé, attirant des milliers de festivaliers.
Des Performances Éblouissantes
La journée a débuté avec les performances de Manu Sissoko et Vesko, qui ont enchanté le public avec des mélodies du monde, célébrant leur amour pour le Mali. Le public a ensuite reçu avec enthousiasme le Néo Calédonien Marcus Gad, qui a captivé les spectateurs avec ses textes poétiques et engageants.
Marcus Gad : Un Voyage Musical
Marcus Gad a une nouvelle fois démontré son attachement à la Bretagne en appelant le public à brandir un drapeau kanake. Lors de sa performance, il a délivré un message poignant et introspectif, accompagné de son groupe Tribe. En répétant les paroles de sa chanson Pouvoir, il a souligné l’importance de l’identité culturelle :
“Protège ton pouvoir, conserve ton savoir, protège ton histoire, préserve ta mémoire.”
Des Légendes du Reggae sur Scène
Après Marcus Gad, c’était au tour de Pierpoljack de chauffer la scène, suivi du groupe mythique Black Uhuru, qui a offert une performance mémorable. Black Uhuru, fondé dans les années 70, a ravi le public avec des morceaux emblématiques du roots reggae. La douceur des mélodies de Patrice et le dernier concert du groupe Chinese Man ont ensuite apporté une touche électro au festival.
La Danse avec Maureen
Le public a aussi eu l’occasion de découvrir le talent de Maureen, ambassadrice du Shatta, un genre musical originaire de Martinique. La chaleur de la foule et l’énergie de la musique ont créé une ambiance festive, propice à la danse et à la célébration.
Qu’attendre pour le Dimanche ?
Alors que les festivaliers se remettent de cette journée intense, le dimanche s’annonce tout aussi prometteur. Avec des prévisions de soleil et de chaleur, le retour de Burning Spear, icône du reggae, est très attendu. Ce chanteur, qui a marqué l’histoire avec des légendes comme Bob Marley, promet de délivrer des paroles puissantes sur la lutte pour la justice et l’égalité.
