– At the Berlinale, there will be a lot of cinema despite the constraints
The 72e Berlin Film Festival promises to be exciting, with two Swiss films in competition, but also very restrictive from a health point of view.
Daily antigenic tests imposed on journalists, including those who received the three doses of vaccine, mandatory reservations for all sessions, conferences and other appointments, gauge halved, FFP2 masks needed, film market canceled and festival reduced to seven days instead of ten. Who can say what this 72 will look likee Berlinale, which promises to be as drastic as it is binding? Will we have easy access to the films and will we talk regarding them as much as regarding a pandemic from which we no longer see the outcome?
