Last season ended in great disappointment for Ferrari. Before the Formula 1 year, the traditional team wanted to attack at the front and pose a threat to Red Bull. But instead they once once more had to struggle with their own car – ultimately the racing team only came third in the team rankings. Ferrari was a long way from a world title.
Ferrari would like to have a quieter season next year. The first step of every Formula 1 season is the presentation of the new car. This has now been scheduled – so the anticipation among all Scuderia Ferrari fans should really increase.
Formula 1: Presentation of the Ferrari car scheduled
Ferrari will unveil its car for the 2024 season on February 13th. Team boss Frederic Vasseur announced this on Saturday evening at a media event at Ferrari headquarters in Maranello. “The launch will be on February 13th, a day before Valentine’s Day, and you’ll see the rest on the 13th,” Vasseur said.

Ferrari is the first team to announce a date for the presentation of the new Formula 1 car. Vasseur also revealed that the successor to the SF-23 is internally codenamed 676. However, the team boss left it open whether this would also be the final name of the car.

This means that the new car will be presented to the public a day earlier than its predecessor. Ferrari presented the SF-23 on February 14, 2023 as part of a spectacular event on the test track in Fiorano.
“Don’t have to promise anything”
Just eight days following the vehicle presentation, the official Formula 1 test drives begin in Bahrain on February 21st. “It’s pretty tight,” admits Vasseur, referring to the schedule. “The test is a little earlier than last year and it’s quite a challenge to juggle everything.”
More news:
After the sobering 2023 season, when the SF-23 did not meet the team’s high expectations, especially at the beginning of the season, Vasseur does not want to formulate any concrete expectations or goals for the coming year. “I don’t have to promise anything. The best way is to focus on what we do to deliver,” emphasized the Frenchman.
