Ferraria’s return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the “queen” class of the World Endurance Championship following 50 years was a victory for the brand — and one that will not go unnoticed. To celebrate the event, the Italian manufacturer has developed a special livery for production models inspired by the Ferrari 499P number 50 driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen. The design was featured on a Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano.
The designs are the result of the work of the team led by Flavio Manzoni and are characterized by the red Le Mans body color and Modena yellow stripes. There are references to the 499P competing in the World Endurance Championship with the number 50 and WEC logo, hand-drawn on the doors and hood.
Ferrari has specified that this livery will be available to select customers without, however, going into further detail. We don’t know, therefore, how many copies will actually be made and the costs —which must be even more salty.
The livery is dedicated to 499P number 50. However, as car number 51 won the tournament, it is not known whether Ferrari will decide to offer a version dedicated to this car as well. Apart from the painting, no other changes were made to the mechanics.
