“Just this week we closed a kind of cycle with a new labor reform that improves many aspects, not all, but we must celebrate it even though there is a long way to go,” said the director
Fernando León de Aranoawhich has received this Saturday six Goya Awards For ‘The good boss’ he stated already at dawn that in recent years there have been “very harmful” labor reforms and he has celebrated the one that has just been approved because “it improves many aspects” although “not all”.
“It is not without grace that just this week we close a kind of cyclehere in Spain there is a new labor reform that improves many aspects, not all, but it must be celebrated even though there is a long way to go”, Fernando León de Aranoa declared this Saturday, at a press conference, in statements collected by Europa Press.
As he pointed out, in recent years there have been “reforms that are very harmful to workers’ rights” and he added that it is something that has “encouraged him to write” the film.
The director has assured to be “very happy” with the awards although he feels that “some actor is missing” who, in his opinion, should have won the Goya and for this reason, as he has said, he has decided to share his Goya for best director with them.
Asked if he considers that ‘The good boss’ remain in the imagination of the spectators, Fernando León de Aranoa believes that “this has more to do with the film itself than with the fact that it won more or less Goyas”.
To do this, as he added, we must try to tell the story from an “angle that does not age” so that everyone feels close to it in 20, 30 or 40 years. “When does it come out, the movies endure“, has detailed, wishing that this happens with ‘The good boss’.
