He Caracas FC announced the hiring of historic Venezuelan footballer Fernando Aristeguieta, who will be the team’s new technical director in an attempt to win the FUTVE League.
The capital team gave the information through its account on the social network “X”, where they expressed their excitement at having the direction of an iconic figure within the Ciego de Ávila institution.
“Fernando Aristeguieta returns home to Caracas Fútbol Club to be the technical director of the first team in the upcoming Clausura Tournament. “El Colorado” joins the Rojos del Ávila as their new helmsman, in principle, until December 2024, with the option to extend until 2025”the club said.
“The former striker, and one of the top scorers in the history of the Rojos del Ávila, will be accompanied by Professor Julio César Soto, with whom he recently worked in the Mexican team’s U-23 reserve team as his technical assistant, the same position he will now have in Caracas.”adds the text.
Fernando Aristeguieta, second youngest strategist
At 32 years and three months old, “El Colorado” will become the second youngest coach to lead Caracas FC.
He will also be the sixth manager to have played in the First Division with the Reds.
