Fernando Alonso “There will be no F1 retirement until the seat is stolen by ability”[F1-Gate .com]

Fernando Alonso of Alpine F1 says he will not leave F1 until someone takes his position.

Fernando Alonso, who returned to F1 in 2021, is the oldest veteran driver on the 2022 F1 grid and is accompanied by the two letters “retirement”, but he is still ready to continue in F1 at the age of 40. I feel that the flames are burning in me in order to lead the Alpine F1 team to the higher ranks.

Fernando Alonso says he’s not going to leave F1 until another driver defeats himself and takes his position, although some argue that space should be reserved for young drivers.

“I feel better than other drivers,” Fernando Alonso told Race Fans.

“Someone came in and he beat me with pure abilities, he mightn’t do well at the start, he wasn’t ready for the car, the driver on the other side of the garage was a second faster than himself. If I can’t match those times, I’ll raise my hand and say,’It’s time to think regarding something else.'”

“But at this point I feel the opposite and I love racing.”

Fernando Alonso has yet to score two points this season. Saudi Arabia and Australia have been in trouble, and Emilia Romagna has been retired and unlucky.

Still, Fernando Alonso says he never thinks regarding retirement.

“I’ve had so many bad lucks this season that I can’t do anything regarding it,” commented Fernando Alonso.

“But it’s better to finish the season in a good way than to have a good start and a bad ending.”

“But if you watch the race on TV, you should have scored 25 to 30 points, so it’s actually just points. That’s painful.”

Fernando Alonso’s contract with the Alpine F1 Team is until 2022, and the team has a promising reserve driver named Oscar Piastri (21 years old).
