Fenatran 2024: Cobli brings innovation in AI and IoT to prevent accidents
Cobli, a technology company for fleet management and physical operations, is present at FENATRAN 2024, an event that takes place from November 4th to 8th in São Paulo. The company is one of the exhibitors and will demonstrate its innovations in artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT), with a focus on the Cobli Cam Pro. “Transportation has always been central to Cobli. We learned a lot from our transport partners and, at this event, we bring new solutions, in addition to absorbing more about the sector’s challenges,” says Rodrigo Mourad, president of Cobli.
Immersive experience shows the importance of technology to increase the safety of drivers and other people on the roads
Through an immersive experience, visitors will be able to learn in practice how the video telemetry solution works, which automatically identifies risky driving behavior. The new generation of camera detects fatigue (yawning and closed eyes), cigarette and cell phone use and distraction. In addition, unsafe distance to the vehicle in front, excessive speed and sudden braking are also monitored.
Cobli Cam Pro: Advanced AI to identify fatigue, cell phone use and distractions.
This advanced AI technology emits audible alerts in the cabin, warning the driver of danger and encouraging them to adjust their behavior immediately. This preventive action contributes to the safety of the driver and other road users. In addition to alerting, the fatigue camera gives managers easy access to accurate video evidence and data to audit claims and provide the right feedback to protect the fleet. “Sleep and tiredness sneak up on us and technology can act and prevent these problems. By detecting signs of fatigue and distraction, we can prevent accidents and save lives”, reinforces Mourad.
When it comes to driver safety, Cobli technology has been a great ally for transport and logistics companies. ABC Cargas, one of the largest road freight transport companies in South America, eliminated accidents in one of the most critical sections of its operation, where the average number of accidents occurred every 21 days.
Technology in practice
Visitors to the Cobli stand will have the opportunity to experience an immersive experience with virtual reality glasses, simulating the Cobli Cam Pro in action, as if they were in the driver’s cabin. “We want to enable visitors to have the exact sensation of viewing your entire operation without leaving where they are,” comments the executive.
During the event, the Driving rankinga tool that helps fleet managers monitor and improve safety. The calculation of the company’s risk behavior data generates a unique score for each driver. The ranking takes into account, for example, how long a driver spent above the speed limit and how often these dangerous situations occur. The parameters of this calculation can be adjusted so that the score is in line with the security policy, allowing for a personalized and accurate analysis. “Through technology we can empower fleets to make their operations safer and save lives”, reinforces Rodrigo.

Tools such as the driving ranking make it possible to implement programs that encourage good practices or apply corrective measures to those who commit infractions. “This type of innovation motivates drivers to adopt a better driving style, in addition to reducing the risk of accidents, reducing fines and saving money on vehicle maintenance”, he adds.
The company will also present a conversational interface, currently in beta, designed for monitoring and controlling fleets, with an intuitive design that facilitates management and increases the efficiency of operations. “We continue to invest in robust technologies that improve operational efficiency, ensuring greater safety for fleets of all sizes, while preparing for the future of transportation with integrated and intelligent solutions,” highlights Mourad.
Expectations for FENATRAN 2024
Participating in the event for the second time, Cobli believes that FENATRAN represents an opportunity for its team of experts to showcase all the progress made towards digital transformation in the transport and logistics sector. “We are excited about this edition, in which we reaffirm our commitment to integrated and intelligent solutions that guarantee greater safety and efficiency for fleets of all sizes,” concludes Rodrigo.
