AN unidentified female body was found at the Ujung Pier of Pari Island, Seribu Islands. The victim was found with his face destroyed.
Seribu Islands Police Chief AKBP Jarot Sungkowo said the victim was found on Saturday (13/4) followingnoon. The victim was found by people who were doing snorkeling activities.
“The body was found by a local resident following returning from snorkeling,” said Jarot in his statement, Monday (15/4).
After receiving this information, the police went to the location to carry out an initial crime scene investigation. The victim was evacuated to the beach for the identification process.
From the identification results, the victim was found to be a 30 year old female. The victim was wearing earrings and a pendant necklace with a butterfly motif.
“There are earrings on the right and left ears, yellow with a butterfly pattern. There is a yellow necklace and pendant with a butterfly pattern. Wearing long blue jeans. Wearing a black long-sleeved t-shirt with buttons of unknown brand. Dentures were found.” he said

“Height 160 cm, white skin, face destroyed, still wearing a red bra, no identification found,” he added.
The police are still investigating the exact cause of the victim’s death. Currently the victim’s body has been evacuated to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.
