In November 1992, Emrie Krosi had just started working as a teacher. With the dreams of a young girl, she left for work every day, even though the road to get there was very long. To get to school every day, Emria and her colleagues had to cross a very high bridge.
The name indicates that he had a bad feeling that day. Her college that day refused to pass while the young teacher decided to pass. Emi also recounts the worst and most tragic moment in her life.
“I finished school in 1990 and I was a teacher. The enthusiasm was great. Then you were appointed by the state. It didn’t last long. I had an accident, it took me years to recover. I was a teacher and I had to cross some kind of footbridge. That’s where I fell, not into the water but onto the rocks. About 18 meters”she says.
He remembers very few things from that time and is grateful to the people who helped him at that time.
“It’s a small area and you get to know each other. I only know the people who helped me because there were no roads and people were transported on stretchers. I saw myself in the hospital“, she adds.
The time in the hospital was very long and difficult. But Emrie shows that he found the greatest support in books.
“It was a time that lasted because I made interventions. The recovery was slow. Then later, until I picked myself up, I competed in 2000 and continued my literature studies. I also published a book of poems. Everything was there. My support was in books. The accident happened at a difficult time. There was no psychologist, many things were taboo. I got through the trauma through libritual,” she adds.
After recovery, Emrie returned to active life once more. He came to Tirana and completed his higher studies in journalism.
“After finishing my studies, I was looking for a job somewhere. I started working as a journalist in Albania, then abandoned it because I focused on practice. I adore the journalist“, she emphasizes.
In her life she published several books and was awarded several prizes.
“The first award I received in Durrës, when the earthquake happened, it broke me. I got second and third prizes. The most important one is the one I took years. Kuvendi magazine, on the anniversary of Fishta. I have other books too. There are two studies and a novel. I have four more books in the works. In addition to poetry, I also study prose.”
The name Krosi from Klosi i Burrel is quite a strong, intellectual lady, but her story is a clear indication of the girl whose great hope has made her rare./abcnews.al
