VELTURNO. Serious road accident, this followingnoon, Sunday 2 April, around 5 pm, on the Brennero state road, in San Pietro Mezzomonte. A car, following skidding, ended up wheels in the air, overturning on the roadway. The impact was violent. The firefighters of San Pietro Mezzomonte and Chiusa worked for a long time to extract the occupants of the car. A woman sustained injuries judged to be serious for which it was decided that she would be transported by helicopter to the Bolzano hospital while the man was taken by Croce Bianca ambulance to the Bressanone hospital. The carabinieri were also at the scene of the accident for the reconstruction of the dynamics.
