British pop star Elton John felt gratitude on his 75th birthday on Friday.
“I feel incredibly fortunate that at 75 I still love what I do so much – I am so energetic when it comes to music and excited to be able to play, listen and talk regarding it every day,” he said native Englishman of the British news agency PA on the occasion of his milestone birthday.

Touring and playing live once more following the pandemic is as exciting as it was 50 years ago, Elton John continued. He now wants to give something back to the younger generation of musicians and the music industry as a whole, from which he has benefited so much, he promised.
farewell tour
Elton John is currently on his farewell tour “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” in the USA. A corona infection put him out of action only briefly in January. After a short break, the tour continued, which was even extended. Stadium concerts in Frankfurt/Main and Leipzig are planned for this summer, and a series of indoor shows in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich in April and May 2023, where he actually said goodbye to the German audience in 2019. Elton John will probably have his last major appearance in Finland.
