An increasing number of Malayali students are flying abroad with the aim of pursuing higher education and securing a better job. However, it is a common sight that these students find it difficult to get accommodation.
To solve this problem of students, ‘Feel at Home’, a housing/accommodation startup started in Dublin, Ireland in 2017, is expanding its services to more countries. After Ireland, UK and Canada, the service has now also started in Australia, said Muhammad Rafiq, Founder and CEO of Feel At Home.
Apart from Ireland and UK, the service is now available in cities like Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Kitchener, Peterborough, Northbay, Sarnia, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in Australia. Mohammad Rafiq said that the service will be launched in New Zealand, Germany and France soon.
Currently students live in 500 leased properties in various cities. These countries do not have hostel and paying guest systems like in India. This is the reason why students in these countries face difficulty in getting accommodation.
and more offices
