The province of Córdoba voted this Sunday for its new Governor, Lieutenant Governor and 70 seats of legislators. In addition, in 194 cities, towns and communes, they elect their authorities on the same day.
Federico Alesandri, current mayor of Embalse and candidate for the Creo en Córdoba de Todos party, confessed that from his space they expected a different result: “We had other expectations, but we are waiting for data to continue entering to see how we are doing.”
Along the same lines, he explained: “The polarization of the election costs us a lot to minority forces.”
Regarding the delays in loading data, Alesandri said that “there are problems everywhere. It is not only the data system: there is slowness in the counting of votes and in the determination of the polling station closure by the polling station authorities”.
On the other hand, he spoke regarding the low participation of the people of Cordoba in these elections, which according to the Justice, was 62%. “The low percentage of voters has to call our attention,” he asserted.
Alesandri said that his goal is “to achieve representation in the Legislature.”
Regarding his campaign, the candidate was satisfied: “We did everything. We put important things on the debate agenda. We maintain that Cordovan men and women can be better off”.
“We are satisfied with the effort we made, and with generating a force that did not exist until 60 days ago,” he concluded.
