The Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC) calls on its members to demonstrate throughout France once morest the introduction of technical control, and once morest Low Emission Zones (ZFE). In Toulouse several hundred bikers are expected.

At the national call of the Federation of Angry Bikers (FFMC), Toulouse bikers will demonstrate on Saturday April 22 from 1:30 p.m. Two convoys will converge on Toulouse, one from Saint-Jory to go to Toulouse Métropole, the other from Muret to go to the inner ring road.

Slowdowns to be expected on the ring road, on the A64 motorway and occasionally in the city center

Traffic slowdowns are therefore to be expected from 1:30 p.m. on the ring road and on the A64 and A62 motorways towards Toulouse, and occasionally in the city center.
The twelve FFMC branches in the South West will join the convoys. They will be accompanied by delegations from the Fédération des Bikers de France.
The bikers say “No to technical control, yes to alternative measures and No to the ZFE”. The State wants to set up a compulsory technical inspection for motorized two-wheelers. Bikers denounce in particular the state of the roads, conducive according to them to accidents.

“The bikers continue the fight”

Following the decision of the Council of State of October 31, 2022, the establishment of a motorcycle technical control
is in effect.

“Yet the bikers continue the fight. They believe that the alternative measures,
considered insufficient by the Council of State, can be improved, worked on in consultation with the
authorities on both the safety and the environmental performance of motorized two-wheelers, explains Agnès Grillou, spokesperson for the FFMC31. With will, the Government can still assert its right to derogate from the technical control according to the European directive 2014/45.
