Federal Revenue auctions gold-plated iPhones!

And let’s go another auction of products seized by the Federal Revenue Service — this time, with a novelty that is at least curious in relation to the other auctions that we have been publishing over the last few months.

There are only five lots with Apple products, but four of them have just one product each: one Gold-plated iPhone 13 Pro Max! Both have 1TB of storage and come with a gold-plated box — which gives the product a somewhat classic and royal appearance.

To try to take one of these luxury version iPhones home, you need to bid at least R$2,500. This, considering that none of the auction products can be sold to third parties.

In addition to the four “gold iPhones”, there are only two other Maçã products in this auction: an Apple Watch Series 3 and an Apple Watch SE — both in the same lot, which receive bids from R$5,000.

Check out all Maçã products and their respective batches:

The auction is accepting proposals until tomorrow and the bidding session is expected to take place a day later, so if you are interested in taking any of the products home, you better hurry!

How to participate?

It is important to highlight that the entire participation process is carried out online. Participants must have an active CPF and a digital certificate to access the Virtual Taxpayer Service Center (e-CAC), which is the platform used to carry out the auction.

Offers can be made by both individuals and companies. However, it is crucial to note that products available at auction are not guaranteed for repairs or replacements. Furthermore, the IRS does not ensure that all products are in perfect working order and also does not make deliveries.

Additionally, it is possible that ICMS (Tax on Circulation of Goods and Services) and a fee charged by the Federal Revenue for storing the items will be applied to the final value of the auctioned products, therefore, it is important to consider these costs when participating in auctions.
