The accident occurred around 2:45 a.m. near Sterrebeek. Federal traffic police were on scene for another crash, in which a car slammed into the guardrail, closing the left and center lanes to traffic.
It was then that a vehicle crashed at high speed, for a still unknown reason, the police suit, which was on the central lane. The agents came out unscathed, as did the troubleshooting staff already on site. The driver, however, was injured and had to be taken to hospital.
