However, a transfer of the 19-year-old would not be cheap. Gnonto still has a contract with the Premier League relegated to 2027 and should cost up to 25 million francs. According to “Transfermarkt”, the Italian has a market value of around ten million francs. Gnonto impressed with four goals and assists in 27 competitive games (Premier League and FA Cup) last season.
FCZ boss Ancillo Canepa spoke after the playoff final of the Women’s Super League about the possible payment of millions. “The media all analyzed the transfer critically. I always said that the transfer met our expectations,” Canepa said. “We got part of the transfer fee in cash, and we also secured a large share of a resale.”
How big is this share? Exceptionally high. When asked about this, he replied with one: “Yes!”. The 70-year-old didn’t want to reveal any more details, but he grinned all over his face.

The FCZ boss also spoke about other transfer planning.
