The new jersey was presented by vice-captain Manuel Maranda and Alexander Briedl as well as by Jana Rauch and Anika Hofschweiger from the women’s team FC Blau-Weiß Linz/Union Kleinmünchen.
The jersey was produced in collaboration with the advertising agency artgroup, supplier uhlsport and cooperation partner machsport. Based on the new rebranding, modern, simple, elegant blue and one red stripe were chosen as the design. The color red stands for the city of Linz and the club’s roots in the city.

“With our new jersey, we want to show the club’s roots in Linz in the away stadiums, so the city’s colors and coat of arms are an essential part of the current design. At the same time, we are also orienting ourselves towards the club’s new rebranding this time. The away jerseys are also made from 100% recycled PET bottles in order to make a contribution to sustainability and a livable environment, so a special thank you to our supplier uhlsport! We are very happy to be wearing this away jersey in the next two seasons and hope that the blue and white fans like it too,” says Christoph Peschek, Managing Director of FC Blau-Weiß Linz.
