The transfer fee would be lower for FC Bayern
After a number of applicants such as FC Bayern recently entered the fight for Schalke’s top talent Assan Ouédraogo, a favorite has apparently emerged. Like in this country “Sky” and Gianluca Di Marzio According to reports in Italy, AC Milan’s interest is currently the most concrete. Accordingly, the Rossoneri bosses are aiming to meet with the 17-year-old youngster this week.

The central midfielder’s goal remains to preferably play in the Bundesliga for Schalke, but this is likely to be complicated given seven points from nine second division games and 16th place in the table. Ouédraogo’s next step might therefore be to Milan. The Serie A leaders reportedly wanted to sign the promising talent last summer, and now the club should be back to Schalke and look into a transfer in the winter or next summer.
A sum of around 20 million euros would be due for the Milanese as a transfer fee, which would make Ouédraogo, who was recently given a starting market value of 500,000 euros, the most expensive German teenager. So far, the ranking is led by Karim Adeyemi, who, as a 16-year-old in 2018, brought 10.1 million euros – including later resale participation – into SpVgg Unterhaching’s coffers when he moved to Red Bull Salzburg.

FC Bayern would apparently have to pay less for Ouédraogo than AC Milan
While the exit clause for a club from abroad is higher according to “Sky”, the Munich team, for example, would “only” have to put 12 to 15 million euros on the table for the right-footed player. The record champions’ interest is also concrete, but many discussions would have to be held before a possible change. In addition to Bayern, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and RB Leipzig from the Bundesliga are also said to be keeping an eye on Ouédraogo, who is one of the few bright spots in what has so far been a disastrous second division season for the Royal Blues.
The German junior international is also very popular in the Premier League at Liverpool FC and especially with coach Jürgen Klopp, who is closely monitoring the Gelsenkirchen player’s development. Other contenders are Everton FC and Brighton & Hove Albion.
At the beginning of the month, “Sport Bild” reported that S04 would like to buy his talent’s existing exit clauses. The aim is to prevent the threat of a quick exit with “an unusual offer”. Ouédraogo, who was promoted to the professional squad in the summer, was used in all nine league games; in May of next year, his current sponsorship contract will automatically be converted into a working paper dated until 2027 when he comes of age.
