This message sounds like the next transfer hammer at FC Bayern!
Barça star Frenkie de Jong (25/contract until 2026) has been haunting the Munich rumor mill for weeks. The Dutchman plays in central midfield and would probably not be averse to a transfer. Bayern officials are also big fans of de Jong.
But: According to BILD information, the mega rumor has nothing to do with it. Munich will not be able to meet the required transfer fee of 80 million euros.
The Spanish “transfer insider” Gerard Romero has now written that Bayern might loan de Jong, including a purchase option. There was a similar deal two years ago with Philippe Coutinho (30), who came to Munich from the Catalans.
However, the record champions in central midfield have anything but catching up to do. Kimmich and Sabitzer are convincing, with Ryan Gravenberch (20) there is another top player on the bench. And in mid-September Leon Goretzka (knee operation) will return.
