Coach Xavi Hernández put on Marc-André ter Stegen in goal as usual in the starting line-up at FC Barcelona, ahead of him Ronald Araújo, debutant Jules Koundé, Eric García and Álex Balde formed the defensive alliance. As a result, FC Barcelona took some of the pressure off, and the comfortable lead seemed anything but endangered. But Real Valladolid haven’t thrown in the towel just yet. The guests were lurking for their chances to at least correct the result.
