Chairman FBR Rashid Mahmood Langriyal’s negotiations with the traders failed. Karachi Chamber, Oil Tanker Association, Engine Traders, and various traders organizations across the country are participating in the strike.
It should be noted that along with political and social organizations, Karachi Chamber has also supported the strike on behalf of business organizations. Yesterday Maulana Fazlur Rehman supported the strike. Besides, PTI is also standing against the government on the call of business organizations. Hafiz Naeem of Jamaat-e-Islami said that the nation cannot bear the burden of IPPs, only the cost should be charged in electricity bills.
On the other hand, the business leaders say that all small and big markets will be completely closed today, the shutter down will continue until the government withdraws the businessmen-friendly scheme.
Trader Friendly Scheme will not be returned in any case, FBR

All business and commercial centers in Subi, Kirk and Kohat closed
On the other hand, a shutter down strike is going on in the districts of Swabi, Kirk and Kohat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against the increase in electricity prices and illegal taxis.
Karachi Chamber supported the nationwide strike of traders
