The FBI published, Wanted List in English and FarsiFor a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Shahram Borsafi, Accused of plotting to assassinate former US National Security Adviser John Bolton.
The FBI announced that Borsafi, 45, is currently being pursued for the attempted assassination of Bolton.

Prior to that, the former US National Security Adviser confirmed to Al-Arabiya that: An assassination attempt on him by Iran was reported in 2020adding that these attempts affected former and current officials.
Bolton said that replacing the current regime in Iran is the only solution to the region’s conflicts.
Bolton also made it clear that Tehran is not trustworthy, because it does not fulfill its obligations regarding the nuclear program.
After the US Department of Justice confirmed the revelation of an Iranian plot to assassinate the former National Security Adviser to the White House, and to indict a member of the Revolutionary Guards, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stressed that The United States will not compromise on protecting all Americans against the threats of violence and terrorism.
Sullivan said Iran would face dire consequences if it attacked any American citizens.
On Wednesday, the US Department of Justice indicted a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Attempting to kill former National Security Adviser John Bolton.
It also announced in a statement that Iranian citizen Shahram Borsafi, also known as Mehdi Rezaei, “attempted to pay $300,000 to individuals in the United States to carry out the murder in Washington, DC or Maryland.”
She added that the attempt to assassinate John Bolton was most likely caused by revenge for the killing of the Quds Force commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in an American strike in Baghdad in early 2020, indicating that Borsafi tried to pay a hired killer to assassinate Bolton.
