Fawad Chaudhry sent to Adiala Jail on judicial remand

Accountability Court of Islamabad sent former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry to Adiala Jail on judicial remand. A hearing was held against former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in the case of corruption in construction projects in Jhelum.

The case against Fawad Chaudhry was heard by Judge Muhammad Bashir of the Accountability Court. Fawad Chaudhry, speaking to Judge Muhammad Bashir, asked, “Sir, I heard your health had deteriorated?” How are you now? A lot was written in the newspaper.

Judge Muhammad Bashir said that I am fine, that’s just how the newspaper people make news. Lawyer Safai said that Fawad Chaudhry is a former federal minister and also a lawyer, he should be given B class in jail.

Judge Muhammad Bashir said that I will write B class in jail for Fawad Chaudhry. A bail application was also filed on behalf of Fawad Chaudhry.

The accountability court issued a notice on Fawad Chaudhry’s bail application and called for arguments on February 1.

Fawad Chaudhry’s lawyer, Amir Abbas, talking to Judge Muhammad Bashir, said that Fawad Chaudhry has been knocked out of the election, he applied for a meeting in the jail and ordered it.

Judge Muhammad Bashir asked that the meeting is not held in Adiala Jail? The lawyer said that the environment of NAB was different, there are problems in jail.

The judge replied with a smile that then they let Fawad Chaudhry stay in NAB.

Lawyer Safai Amir Abbas said that yes sir let him stay with NAB for 2 days, NAB can remand him for maximum 30 days, give him 2 days remand, he will be remanded for 31 days, in the news. Will come too.
