Bac Ninh creates favorable conditions for South Korean companies
A conference “Rencontre Bac Ninh – Republic of Korea” was held on Wednesday May 17 in the northern province of Bac Ninh.

This event was organized by the Provincial People’s Committee, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam, within the framework of the program “Meeting with the Republic of Korea in the North Region in 2023”.
Among 39 countries and territories investing in Bac Ninh, the ROK is the largest investor with 960 projects with a total capital of regarding 14.34 billion USD, according to Provincial People’s Committee Chairperson Nguyen Huong Giang.
“The conference is an opportunity for South Korean companies and investors to better understand the opportunities, potentials and advantages of Bac Ninh“, she said, before asking local bodies to collect opinions, opinions and ideas to create favorable conditions for foreign investors, including South Koreans.
ROK Ambassador Oh Young Ju expressed hope that Bac Ninh authorities and South Korean companies will work together to find solutions to difficulties and support business development.
At the conference, Choi Joo Ho, general manager of Samsung Vietnam, said Bac Ninh has an attractive investment climate with its business support policies. He suggested local authorities invest in upgrading transport infrastructure to make its investment climate more attractive.
