Faustin Archange Touadéra decorates Alphonse Ibi Kouagou of the World Bank

The World Bank Administrator for the Central African Republic, Alphonse Ibi Kouagou, has been made a Commander in the National Order of Central African Recognition.

Passing through CAR, the Administrator of Breton Woods was received by the Prime Minister, Head of Government. On September 7, 2022, the President of the Republic, Faustin Archange Touadéra awarded Alphonse Ibi Kouagou the tie of Commander in the National Order of Central African Recognition.

This executive of the WB is rewarded for his role played in the outcome of several development projects, financed with more than 800 Million Dollars in favor of the CAR.

“I have been at the World Bank for 22 years. I have worked many times to invest in countries even times more than that, but I have never been decorated like you do. This country will remain unforgettable for me Mr. President. I will continue to fight for the time I have left to mobilize resources for your country.” These are the words of recognition pronounced by Alphonse Ibi Kouagou, Administrator of the World Bank.
