The Head of State has lifted the ban on the closure of the Vision4 RCA television of the Cameroonian billionaire businessman, Jean Pierre Amougou Belinga. The information on the closure of this TV channel from the L’Anecdote Group has made the rounds on social networks and news sites. According to a press release from the President of the High Council for Communication of the Central African Republic, published on March 11, 2022, VISION4 RCA is banned for “non-payment of royalties relating to the use of audiovisual frequencies; the refusal to defer to the invitations of the High Council for Communication; the ill-treatment inflicted on journalists working within the channel”, one can read in the decision signed José Richard POUAMBILE, the president of the media regulatory body. And to add that “it is an obligation for the management of the television channel VISION4 RCA to stop broadcasting all of its programs on Central African territory. However, in the middle of the followingnoon of Monday, we learned from a reliable source, the cancellation of this decision, by the Central African head of state, Faustin Archange TOUADERA. Recall that the CEO of the L’Anecdote consortium, Jean Pierre Amougou Belinga is a friend of the President of the Republic.
