Fatma Bayram who disappeared without a trace with her 5-year-old son, found dead at the Dutch border

The 38-year-old woman, who disappeared a month ago in Oupeye following an argument with her husband, was found dead on the other side of the Dutch border, relays the Nieuwsblad.

A month ago, 38-year-old Fatma Bayram suddenly disappeared following an argument with her husband. The latter, worried, had contacted the police station to report the disappearance of his wife. He had also found his wife’s car in Visé, on the Quai de la Meuse. In it were still his keys and his phone.

The police then embarked on a search operation and found, the next morning, the body of their five-year-old child, drowned. But no trace of Fatma. A search warrant had been issued by the police.

She was found dead, in a stream in Maastricht, this Wednesday regarding fifteen kilometers from the place where her car was found.

The police suspect that the mother and her son both died the evening of their disappearance, in the same place and that the body of their child was washed away by the river.
