Irfan Sharif, a 42-year-old British citizen of Pakistani origin, admitted in court that he did not kill his 10-year-old daughter Sarah.
It should be noted that earlier in the Old Bailey Court in Great Britain, Irfan Sharif, the father of the deceased Sarah Sharif, admitted that when Sarah was badly injured, Sarah’s step-daughter, Mah Benesh, refused to call an ambulance.
However, in the court held on Wednesday, Irfan Sharif also took responsibility for not calling an ambulance, before which Benish was blamed.
Irfan told the court that when he reached home that evening, he found Sara lying sick in the room with his wife Benish. Irfan Sharif agreed with Caroline (Banish Batul’s lawyer) who said that Irfan did not believe Sara was really sick.
Caroline asked as you told Banish she was pretending, you picked up a metal pole and hit Sarah twice in the stomach as she lay in a bad position. Irfan Sharif agreed that this was true.
Caroline continued by saying that Benish said we needed an ambulance, but you forbade Benish to call an ambulance, was that so? To which Irfan Sharif replied that yes it was.
According to the global media, Irfan Sharif had confessed to killing a 10-year-old girl by beating her. Giving evidence at the Old Bailey, Irfan Sharif said, “She died because of me, I didn’t want to kill her.”
Irfan also admitted that he repeatedly hit Sara over the head with a mobile phone about a month before her death, and occasionally tied his daughter up with tape before hitting her with a pole or cricket bat.
In the court, Irfan Sharif was asked if he forced Sarah to ‘sit up’ after tying her ankles and wrists with tape. To which Irfan said, “No, it’s not like that, I never did that.”

Irfan Sharif later added that “I hit him with a stick, but did not make him sit up”.
Sarah was found dead at her home in Woking last August, with human bite marks and iron burns. His body was found when his family fled to Pakistan from Britain.
Her father Irfan Sharif, 42, stepmother Benish Batul, 30, and uncle Faisal Malik, 29, are all accused of killing the schoolgirl and causing or allowing the death of a child between December 16, 2022 and August 9, 2023. What was denied?

It should be noted that on September 13, Irfan Sharif, stepmother Benish Batul and uncle Faisal, who are hiding in Pakistan, were handed over to Britain. According to sources, the three were dispatched from Sialkot Airport.
Sara Sharif’s father Irfan Sharif, uncle Faisal and step-mother Banish Sharif, who have been hiding in Jhelum for a month, left Sialkot Airport via Emirates Airline flight EK-9 for UK via Dubai.
