The university had invited Al-Gharibi’s father to attend the graduation ceremony on behalf of his deceased son.
It is noteworthy that the murder of Al-Walid Al-Gharibi, a scholarship student, took place on January 23, inside a house in Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by an American who stabbed him several times following luring him to help her and stole his phone and some valuable contents, before fleeing from the crime scene.
