A Peekskill, New York father mourns the death of his 10-year-old boy who took his own life following allegedly being bullied for several months.

Christian Illescas, Gianlukas’s father, accused Hillcrest Elementary school authorities of not addressing the case of bullying once morest the minor.

The devastated father of the family pointed out that The minor received all kinds of insults when he went to the school campus.

“That he is a strange child, that he is fat, that he is ugly, that he is creepy, that his shoes were like homeless, he came crying. After that he didn’t want to go to school anymore, ”he said.

He added that He tried to denounce the bullying suffered by little Gianlukas, but he was not listened to.

“They took my son’s computer for 2 months, they took away his musical instrument and did nothing, when there was bullying they suspended him,” he said.

“The first thing I go to is school, but no one attended to me, they told me they were going to call me, but no one called me,” he added.

The harassment continued for at least six months, until the fatal outcome.

On Thursday, May 25, the minor took advantage of the fact that the father was not at home and an oversight of the grandfather to take his own life.

Through a statement, the school limited itself to pointing out that they are collaborating with the police.

“We are deeply saddened and our focus now is to help our school community cope with their pain. While this incident did not occur on school grounds, we are working closely with local police and await their findings.”

Now, Christian Illescas will hold a protest this coming Tuesday to demand justice in his son’s case and indicated that he is considering taking legal action.
