“Fatal Shooting and Stabbing Attack at Falls Church Apartment Complex: Latest News and Updates”

Two men were killed and two youths were injured Monday after a shooting and stabbing attack at an apartment complex in the Falls Church area of ​​Fairfax County, Virginia, authorities said.

The violent events occurred in the 2200 block of Pimmit Run Lane, south of Leesburg Pike (Route 7). Fairfax County Police said 911 calls for a shooting began coming in shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Two men were shot and pronounced dead. Two minors were stabbed and had injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Their ages were not immediately released.

Witnesses said those involved appeared to be teenagers or in their early 20s.

“I saw a boy about 14 or 15 years old, no more than 18. (He was) all cut and with so much blood… The boy looked at me and looked at himself as if he had no life in his eyes,” said Samantha Pineda.

One of the men who was shot was found in a laundry room and pronounced dead at the scene. The second man was found in a parking lot. He was taken to a hospital, where he died. The children were also taken to hospitals.

Police noted that all the people involved came together “for a specific reason.”

“We believe that everyone involved came together for a purpose, that everyone was coordinated to come together. For what reason, we’re not sure,” Deputy Chief Eli Cory explained.

A backpack filled with what were believed to be narcotics was found nearby.

Police do not believe there is any continuing threat to public safety.
