A motorist lost his life in a serious accident which occurred during the night from Saturday to Sunday on the inner ring road of Brussels, near Hal, the federal police said on Sunday. The man died instantly.
The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m., just before the work carried out in Buizingen (Hal). No other vehicles were involved.
The circumstances of the accident are under investigation.
