The collision left him no chance. This Thursday evening, around 10 p.m., two bikers are driving on the Herweg in Laarne (East Flanders). As several witnesses explain to our colleagues from Laatste Nieuws, they overtook several cars before one of the motorcycles deviated from its trajectory.
Driven by a young man, whose age is not yet known, the vehicle, launched at high speed, began to rock, left the road and then crashed into a tree in the front yard of a house. A violent shock following which the engine immediately caught fire. Caught in the flames, the victim was extracted by a witness riding a bicycle.

Unfortunately useless help since the young biker died on the spot. The emergency services tried, without success, to resuscitate him for 45 minutes when they arrived. A tragedy that unfolded under the helpless gaze of his friend. “He stared at the whole scene before being taken care of,” explains the Flemish newspaper.
A traffic expert was dispatched to the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
