Fatal Drunk Driving Crash in Queens: Accused Driver Faces Vehicular Homicide Charges

Errick Persaud, a 24-year-old man, was accused of crashing while driving drunk and causing the death of Michael Rodríguez (38), a NYC municipal employee who was traveling as a passenger in a truck early Thursday morning in Queens.

Police said Rodriguez was riding in the front passenger seat of a DEP truck that was struck by Persaud’s Mercedes.
