A collision between a VW polo and a Mercedes left two dead, during the night from Friday to Saturday around 2:00 a.m., on the N97 in Morville (Florennes), indicates the spokesperson for the Dinaphi zone, Patrice Liétart.
A 6-year-old child was also seriously injured and taken to Marie Curie hospital in Charleroi. A second child was transported to the Dinant Hospital Center (CHD). The four victims each occupied the same vehicle, namely the VW Polo. The driver of the other car they collided with was transported to the CHD in shock.
An expert was dispatched to the site. The road remained closed for several hours to allow investigation duties as well as its clearance and cleaning by the emergency services.
