A terrible tragedy occurred overnight from Thursday to Friday in the town of Engis. A driver driving her fiat 500 was traveling from Nandrin to Engis, and for an as yet undetermined reason, the car crashed into a hedge which runs along the bend in rue Magnery between the Houx district and Nandrin, before rolling over several times and ending its course in the middle of the roadway.
During the barrel rolls, the driver, aged 25 and from Saint-Georges, was partially ejected from her vehicle.

Citizens immediately called the emergency services. On the spot, the emergency services of zone II (Liège) and Huy (in reinforcement) carried out the necessary medical work. The person, whose vital prognosis was engaged at the time of the intervention, was transported to the University Hospital of Liège.
Unfortunately, the young woman succumbed to her injuries during the night.
A car expert and a medical examiner went to the scene while the prosecution was notified. The Condroz and Meuse-Hesbaye police zones were also present at the scene.
The police in the Meuse-Hesbaye area have activated the police assistance service for victims.
The mayors of Engis and Saint-Georges have been informed of this terrible tragedy.
