A road accident occurred Wednesday evening in the entity of Leuze where a car collided with agricultural machinery. The driver was killed instantly.
The emergency services of Picardy Wallonia were alerted on Wednesday evening, at 10:50 p.m., that a serious traffic accident had occurred along the Chaussée de Bruxelles (RN7) in Chapelle-à-Wattines, in the entity of Leuze.
Coming from the Ath and Leuze barracks, an extrication vehicle, a truck for marking, an SMUR, an ambulance and a command vehicle were dispatched to the scene of the collision.
The accident occurred at the intersection of the Chapelle-à-Oie road and the Chaussée de Bruxelles. An agricultural tractor coming from Chapelle-à-Oie collided with a car coming out of the Leuze prison roundregarding and heading towards Ath. When first responders arrived, the driver of the car had already died.
