An ATV driver lost his life on Sunday following his vehicle swerved on the Saint-Benoît road in Packington, in Bas-Saint-Laurent.
According to initial information, the emergency services were called to the scene around 7 a.m. concerning an ATV that would have rolled over and rolled over.
“It was workers who discovered the lifeless man in a ditch under his mountain bike,” said agent Stéphane Tremblay, spokesman for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The 28-year-old man from Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The road trip would have possibly occurred during the night. An investigation has been opened to understand the circumstances and causes of this accident.
