This Sunday at dawn, the N90 which connects Andenne to Huy was the scene of a dramatic accident. A 37-year-old Andennais lost his life near Ben-Ahin.
Near the White Farm, the driver of a white Mercedes break driving from Huy towards Andenne lost control of his vehicle for a reason that the investigation will have to determine. It left its trajectory before colliding head-on with two parked vehicles. The Mercedes ended up in the driveway of a house along the main road. A lighting pole was also severed following the impact.
The national was closed to traffic during the operations and the duties of the investigation by the police of Huy. Firefighters from the HEMECO rescue zone at the Huy substation descended on the spot. The CHRH SMUR and an ambulance also converged on the scene, as did the acting mayor of Huy. The Charlier de Huy convenience store was requisitioned to evacuate the vehicles.
