A woman lost her life after being hit by a car driven by her companion, authorities learned on Wednesday. The facts took place around 8:00 a.m. in Frameries, this morning, at the crossroads located between the streets Firmin Pierard and de Lambrechies, .
Contacted by the agency Belgian, the mayor of the town, Jean-Marc Dupont (PS), certified that it was a voluntary act, thus confirming information from the Boraine police. An investigation is opened at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Mons. The latter confirmed that the case was under investigation but specified that he would not communicate before tomorrow on the file.
The perpetrator was apprehended at the scene by the police. He will be questioned afterwards.
