WWE celebrated Fastlane 2023 on Saturday from Indianapolis.

In the pre show they showed Jade Cargill arriving at the arena being greeted by Triple H.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeated The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) to become the new undisputed WWE tag team champions. In the final moments JD McDonagh then came to the ring and as chaos unfolded everywhere, Ripley hit Uso with the briefcase, but Bálor might only get a two count and was shocked.

Priest and Rhodes brawled on the outside of the ring and when Damian tried to put him through the announce table, McDonagh accidentally hit Priest with the briefcase and Rhodes followed up with a Cross Rhodes. Balor then receives another Cross Rhodes for the victory.

The LWO (Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar) & Carlito (with Zelina Vega) defeated Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits. After Escobar made his entrance with Vega, Mysterio made his entrance with no one by his side and it looked like it was going to be a 2 on 3 match.

As Mysterio attempted to return, Ford pulled Escobar out of the ring, leading Vega to get involved and attack Ford. While Vega encouraged Mysterio in the middle of the ring, Carlito comes out with a new entrance theme. While Ford was stunned, Carlito nailed the Backstabber off of him to get the big win for a grateful LWO.

IYO SKY defeated Asuka & Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat match to retain the WWE Women’s Championship with the help of Bayley.

John Cena and LA Knight defeated The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa) (with Paul Heyman). Pat McAfee was on the commentary table. In the end Sikoa was eliminated from the ring and following Cena hit the Five Knuckle shuffle, Knight nailed Uso with the BFT for the victory.

After the match, Knight raised Cena’s hand as the crowd applauded both men.

Behind the Scenes, The Judgment Day He was contemplating not leaving Indianapolis without the World Heavyweight Championship since Priest wanted to cash in. However, Ripley declared that tonight was not the night as Priest’s knee was hurt. Damian handed his briefcase to Rhea.

In the main event, Seth “Freakin” Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in a Last Man Standing match. They brawled all over the arena and there were several high-risk moments. In the end they both returned to the stage area and Rollins hit Nakamura with a Stomp. Rollins followed up with a Falcon Arrow through a table and when the referee reached the count of nine, Rollins got up and Nakamura collapsed and Rollins somehow miraculously wins the match.
